Cryptbergia 'Red Burst' - 15cm

Cryptbergia 'Red Burst' is a strinking hybrid bromeliad (a cross between Cryptanthus and Billbergia) grown for its bold rosette of arching leaves that turn a deep red or burgundy when grown in bright light. It thrives in full sun to semi-shade, preferring well-drained, sandy or bark-based soil (like other bromeliads) and requires moderate watering, with water often held in the central cup. It is fairly drought-tolerant, best kept on the dry side, and ideal for rock gardens, containers, or as an accent plant.
