Nandina domestica (Heavenly Bamboo) - 12cm

Nandina domestica (commonly known as Sacred Bamboo or Heavenly Bamboo) is an elegant, evergreen shrub prized for its finely divided foliage that changes colour with the seasons. New growth emerges in shades of bronze and red, maturing to green in summer and turning fiery red, orange, and purple in cooler months. In spring to summer, it produces delicate clusters of small white flowers, followed by bright red berries in autumn and winter.

Growing 1–2 m tall with a graceful, upright form, Nandina domestica thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. It’s hardy, low-maintenance, and ideal for adding year-round colour and texture to borders, mixed plantings, or containers.
